The West Parry Sound District Museum is exhibiting “Remembering our Own” a display that focuses on the contributions made by local volunteers during World War One and Two. The exhibit includes rare archival footage of past Remembrance Days in Parry Sound, the roll call of the 162 Battalion, information on the HMCS Parry Sound and many other military artifacts. The West Parry Sound District Museum encourages all members of the community to take time out on November 11th and reflect on sacrifices made by past generations

The West Parry Sound District Museum is happy to host the 3rd Annual Haunted on the Hill Family Activity Day on Sunday, October 26th from 10am to 2pm. Come enjoy this fun filled day featuring a scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving, local haunted stories told by Steven Duff, arts and crafts, Halloween safety tips, BBQ, bake sale, games organized by Community Living Parry Sound and a giant candy raffle sponsored by Pollard’s IDA. Don’t forget to bring a non perishable food item for Harvest Share. The Museum encourages all children and members of the family to put on a costume and join the festivities. Come to the museum and get haunted on the hill!!

LOL !! as I sing it to the Green Acres rhythm Zeuter is great and so is our good ole home town of Parry Sound.
